Racial Double Standards

complicatedshoes:

I’d be more sympathetic to the argument that a latina or any member of a minority race will bring a new and better approach to the law if the people making that argument weren’t also the same people that also think a sitting member of the Supreme Court is not “black enough” for the same to be said of him.

That’s what hypocrisy smells like.

and that’s what I have to say to all you white folks on my dash today that are trying to feel oh so superior today by jumping on some ill conceived bandwagon that really has nothing to do with what you so desperately want it to.

Take a few minutes to process the information in front of you before deciding it’s a “cause” that will make you look and sound cool and “evolved”. really, you just sound ridiculous. and ya know- like the hypocrite you are.
