Why conservatives don't win elections anymore
Yet you squawk out the meme about talk radio. Have you actually listened to any of these evil, evil talk radio shows (and I don’t mean freaks like Rush)? That is too easy to throw around as well. And you imply we are so stupid we would fall in line with whatever comes out of our radios regardless. Open-minded? Doesn’t sound like it.
Wednesday Night I listened to O’Reilly talking about San Francisco and Mitt Romney on Hugh Hewitt’s show. Maybe those don’t qualify for you.
Granted it was only because I was in the car and the Bulls were getting flattened by the Blazers so badly even listening to Bill-O seemed less masochistic, but you should have heard Romney. He was talking about how the party didn’t do a good job of convincing people to vote Republican.
Let me be the first to say that conservatives aren’t “so stupid we would fall in line with whatever comes out of our radios regardless.” I would have switched my brother-in-law’s dial to NPR a long time ago.
But please continue to turn any critique of the way conservativism currently seems constituted into a generalized demonization of it. It’s really productive.

I agree, and that has been my point, that pointing out the failings of conservatives isn’t an indictment of them as a whole, but that is how I have read all of your recent political posts as implying.
(if that doesn’t make any sense, I apologize. My recent post would point out I am now drunk on 2 beers and doing my best to remain coherent!)
